Chemical Records and Licenses Without the Filing Cabinet
If your crews do plant health care or apply pesticides, most states require a record of every application: what was applied, where, when, how much, and by whom. Missing or incomplete records can bring fines or put a license at risk, and paper forms get lost, rained on, or buried in a box by the time an inspector asks for them. ArborDash keeps those records with the jobs they came from, and you can search them by product, customer, pest, or applicator.
Each application log has room for the product name, EPA registration number, active ingredient, signal word, method, total quantity, application and dilution rates, target pest or disease, property address, weather at the time of application, and the applicator's name and license number. When a crew marks a job complete on their route and one of its services calls for a chemical log, ArborDash asks for the log right there on their phone, with the product, EPA number, method, and quantity filled in from the service's defaults. If the crew member saving the log has a current applicator, supervisor, or master certification on file, ArborDash fills them in as the applicator, and a standard applicator has to name a supervising applicator before the log saves. Owners and admins on that screen pick from everyone with a current certification.
The Licenses & Certifications tab tracks pesticide applicator, qualified supervisor, and master applicator licenses, ISA Certified Arborist and TRAQ credentials, CDLs, first aid and CPR, OSHA safety certifications, and any other type you name, each with its number, state, category, and expiry date. Starting 30 days before a certification expires, ArborDash emails the employee and your owners and admins and posts an in-app notice, then repeats it every week until someone updates the date. When an inspector asks for records, run the Chemical Application Log report for the dates they want and export it to CSV, or print or download a PDF of any single application with the applicator's license, weather, and posting details.

How It Works
- Set up your products: Add each chemical to Inventory with its EPA registration number, active ingredient, signal word, and REI, or photograph the label or SDS and let AI fill those in. Then attach products to your services with a default amount, method, and target pest, so the crew's route log for that service starts with those details filled in.
- Log applications in the field: When a crew finishes a job whose services need a chemical log, their route screen asks for it with the service's product details filled in. They check the quantity and the applicator, and save. The full log form on the Compliance page adds weather, posting, and notification details, and when you open it from a job it fills in temperature and wind speed from the hourly forecast for the property's ZIP code.
- Track certifications in one place: Record each team member's ISA certification, applicator licenses, and other credentials with their expiry dates. ArborDash emails the employee and your admins starting 30 days before a date and flags expiring and expired certifications at the top of the Compliance page.
- Export for audits: When an inspector asks for records, run the Chemical Application Log report for any date range and export it to CSV, or print or save a PDF of an individual log.
