A Scheduling Calendar Built for Tree Care Operations
A tree care schedule changes every day. A storm moves in, a customer calls about a limb on the roof, a crew runs long on a removal. ArborDash puts your jobs, your crews, and the forecast on one Schedule page, so the office can move work around on one screen instead of a whiteboard.
Switch between day, week, and month views. Each crew has its own color, and day view lays crews out side by side by the hour, so you can see which crew has which job. Drag a job from the Unscheduled Jobs list onto a day, or onto an hour in day view, to schedule it, and drag it again to move it. Assign or change crews from the Jobs list, one job at a time or several at once. Crew members see the change the next time they open or refresh their schedule.
Above the calendar, the Schedule page shows a 7-day forecast for your ZIP code with the high and low, chance of rain, and top wind speed. Wind turns yellow above 15 mph and red above 25 mph, gusts over 20 mph show in red, and active National Weather Service alerts for your area appear under the forecast. Day view lists temperature, wind, and gusts beside each hour, so you can check the wind before you book a bucket truck or crane job.
When you drop a single-day job on a day, ArborDash checks it before it saves. It warns you if the job depends on an unfinished job that has no date yet or is scheduled after the day you picked. If the job already has a crew, it also warns you when a crew member is marked unavailable that day, the crew already has its maximum jobs or hours for the day, or nobody on the crew holds a license the job's equipment requires. You read the warning and decide whether to schedule anyway.
Owners and admins see every crew, the Unscheduled Jobs list, and job totals, and can filter the calendar to one crew or to unassigned jobs. Employees see only the jobs for the crews they belong to, without prices, and cannot drag them to a new date. Owners and admins can switch to crew view to check what their crews see.

How It Works
- Create the job. Add a job by hand, or use Convert to Job on an estimate to open a new job filled in from it, and pick the crew. When a customer accepts an estimate in your portal, ArborDash creates the job for you.
- Drag it onto the calendar. Jobs without a date wait in the Unscheduled Jobs list. Drop one on a day, or on an hour in day view, and read any crew warnings before it saves.
- Check the wind. The 7-day forecast and any active NWS alerts sit above the calendar, and day view shows temperature, wind, and gusts beside each hour. Click a forecast day to open it in day view.
- Crews open their schedule. Employees see their crews' jobs on a phone, tablet, or computer the next time they open or refresh the Schedule, and start the day from their Home page.
