Make Safe, Informed Decisions About Every Job
Tree work depends on the weather, and it is dangerous. Arborists work at height and run heavy equipment near power lines, and a sudden gust can turn a routine prune into an emergency. ArborDash shows the forecast on the Schedule page, above the calendar you use to plan the day, so wind and storm warnings are in front of you when you assign crews.
Enter your company's ZIP code once and the Schedule page shows a 7-day forecast strip above the calendar. Each day lists the high and low, the chance of precipitation, and the top sustained wind speed, and calls out gusts over 20 mph in red. Wind speed turns yellow above 15 mph and red above 25 mph. Open a day's detail for an hourly breakdown from 6 AM to 8 PM, with a caution note for aerial lifts and climbing on moderate-wind days and a note to assess aerial work before dispatching crews when wind tops 25 mph. Day view also lists temperature, wind, and gusts next to each hour. When you line up a crane removal or a bucket truck job, you can check that day's wind without opening a separate weather app.
ArborDash also pulls active National Weather Service warnings, watches, and advisories for that location and shows them as color-coded banners under the forecast, red for severe and extreme alerts and yellow for moderate ones. When the Schedule page loads a forecast with gusts of 40 mph or more or a thunderstorm today or tomorrow, or an active NWS alert, ArborDash posts an urgent Weather Safety announcement to your company's Announcements feed, once per condition per day. Turn on the Announcement Published notification and your team also gets it by push, text, email, or in-app alert. Admins can switch the automatic posts off on the Announcements page.
- 7-day weather forecast on the scheduling calendar

- Wind caution notes for aerial lift and climbing work
- Hourly temperature, precipitation, and wind detail
How It Works
- Set your location. Enter your company's ZIP code on the Schedule page. ArborDash saves it and loads the 7-day forecast and any active NWS alerts for that spot.
- Check the forecast. Each day above the calendar shows temperatures, precipitation chance, and wind. Wind turns yellow above 15 mph and red above 25 mph, and gusts over 20 mph are flagged in red.
- Review NWS alerts. Warnings, watches, and advisories from the National Weather Service appear as banners under the forecast. High winds, thunderstorms, and active alerts also post a Weather Safety announcement for your team.
- Move the work. Click a forecast day to open it in Day view with hourly wind beside each time slot. To move a job, drag it to a calmer day in Week or Month view.
