Crews, Credentials and Equipment in One Place
When several crews are spread across your service area, the office keeps asking the same questions. Which crew just finished its morning job? Who is closest to the emergency call that just came in? Does anyone on the crew headed to the aerial removal hold the license that job's equipment needs? ArborDash keeps the answers in the dashboard, so you check a screen instead of calling around. It shows a live GPS map of your crew members, every crew's jobs for the day, and each person's licenses and certifications with expiry dates.
You assign each job to a crew, and the Schedule shows each crew in its own color. On a desktop, the day view splits into a column per crew when three or more crews have jobs that day. When you drag a job to a new day or time, ArborDash checks the assigned crew and warns you if no one on it holds a license the job's equipment requires, if a crew member's weekly availability has them off that weekday or the job starts outside their hours, or if the crew is already at its daily job or hour limit. It also tells you where any required equipment is parked. The GPS Tracking page shows each person's last reported position, direction and speed, and the markers move as new positions come in. Turn on Show Jobs to see each crew's numbered stops and saved route, with finished and in-progress stops marked. On the Schedule and on the route screen they work from each day, crew members see only their own crew's jobs.
Each team member's record holds licenses (ISA Certified Arborist, Pesticide Applicator, CDL Class A or B) and certifications (First Aid/CPR, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, OSHA, chainsaw safety, or your own) with numbers and expiry dates. Expired and expiring items are flagged on the team member's page, and licenses are flagged on the Compliance page too. ArborDash emails the employee and your admins starting 30 days before a certification expires. Equipment records hold a maintenance due date (flagged a week ahead and when overdue), operating hours, current location and the licenses needed to run each machine, and you can log equipment hours on a job for job costing. The Skills Matrix rates each person from Beginner to Expert on every service you offer. To measure output, the Crew Productivity report compares estimated and clocked hours per crew alongside jobs completed and revenue, and the Route Efficiency report compares planned drive and work time with the hours the crew clocked.

How It Works
- Set up your crews: Add team members, group them into crews with a lead, a vehicle and daily job and hour limits, and record each person's licenses and certifications with expiry dates. ArborDash emails a reminder starting 30 days before a certification expires.
- Assign and schedule jobs: Pick a crew for each job and drag it onto the calendar. ArborDash warns you if nobody on the crew holds a license the job's equipment needs, if someone's weekly availability has them off that weekday or at that start time, or if the crew is already at its daily limit.
- Follow the day on the map: The GPS Tracking page shows where each crew member last reported and how many of the crew's jobs are done. Turn on Show Jobs to see which stop they are working, so you can tell who is closest when an urgent call comes in.
- Measure and improve: Run the Crew Productivity report to compare estimated and clocked hours per crew, and the Route Efficiency report to compare planned drive and work time with actual hours.
